About Us

Modesto Food Distributors was established in 1972 to bring Fulton Valley Chickens to San Francisco. Since then we have grown and produce and distribute to the greater San Francisco Bay Area delivering meat, poultry, game birds, ducks, and select dairy products. Our customers include caterers, institutions, retailers, hotels, wholesalers, and retail markets. Our large customer base and fleet of trucks enables us to provide either daily or every other day deliveries. We purchase directly from local and national processors and have a rapid inventory turnover guaranteeing the freshest product for our customers. Our own refrigerated cutting rooms for meat and poultry allow us to provide products to your specific specifications. We are able to provide custom labeling and packaging. Once we start our relationship we will anticipate your needs to prevent shorts or delays in your orders.

In addition to our USDA inspected products, we are licensed to produce and pack Halal & Organic.
